My name is Nelson Moutinho. A University graduate with a degree in Graphic Communications Management, I began my career as a pre-press imager in a North Toronto print service bureau. As the company expanded, so did my role: everything from original graphic design, colour retouching, photo manipulation, marketing campaigns and pre press make-ready. As the company's focus shifted to include website design during the Internet craze of the ninety's, I quickly became a positive force in the execution of website development. Currently I am employed as a Web Designer and User Interface Developer for an amazing software company in the heart of downtown Toronto. Surrounded by experts in their respected fields, experiences here help strengthen my practical knowledge of design as well as constantly developing professional and well-executed code. Apart from evening freelance work, I am also a member of the National Association of PhotoShop Professionals, and usually teach a semester on Advanced PhotoShop techniques once every calendar year.
